Out-of-Towner: Document Coffee

September 26, 2017

Honest Dallas is back from Los Angeles with new reviews. I have to thank LA for the hospitality and good times.

Staying near Koreatown was great. Lots of wonderful food, culture, leisurely walks. Being the coffee fiend that I am, I had to try one of the coffee shops in the area. Document was said to have the best coffee in Koreatown, so off I went.

Document has the perfect setup to bring in your laptop, get to work, and enjoy your coffee in peace. It doesn’t have music over the intercom or big chairs and couches to lounge in. It is much more a workplace for patrons. The staff is genuinely nice and helpful.

I ordered a macchiato and a blueberry muffin. I had both within minutes. The coffee was perfect. I didn’t add anything to it. The beans weren’t over-roasted. There was no bitterness but it was still robust. Truly one of the best macchiatos I’ve had.

If you are ever in Los Angeles, I highly recommend spending time in Koreatown. Start your day at Document to get the boost you need.
