It’s November 5th and a Wednesday, and though it’s Guy Fawkes Day, this coming Tuesday is Veterans Day. A day that honors those who should not be forgotten.
Deep:Expressions of the Feminist Aura Opening Reception, Kettle Art Gallery, November 6th, 7-10 pm- This exhibit feature five female artists and their view on feminine gender. The artists are Roxanne Mather, Corey Godfrey, Megan Petasky, Emily Hawkins, and Harmony Wittea.
Deep Ellum Brewing Company’s 3rd Anniversary, Deep Ellum Brewing Company, November 8th, Noon-10 pm- Deep Ellum Brewing Co is turning three this weekend. There will be live music, food trucks, and of course, beer. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Pike Shrimpfest, November 8th,The Barley House, 1:30- 5:30 pm- Eat lots of shrimp to benefit the Dallas Fire Department. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
Crawl Through the Decades: Pub Crawl, November 8th, Victory Park, 7:30 pm- House of Blues is hosting a pub crawl through Victory Park. There will be live music, specials, food, and more.
Veterans Day Parade, November 11th, Starts at City Hall, 11 am- The annual Veterans Day ceremony and parade will begin in front of City Hall. This year’s theme is “Honoring Our Wounded Soldiers.”
